Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros announced that in the last three years of her administration “many projects” are expected, such as the construction of the Family City and the remodeling of the historic park; in addition to putting other areas in order such as the Administrative and Security City, she said on a working tour through the heart of Tlaxcala.
To do this, they are working on the Family City project, so that it can be built in the Exhibition Center, located in the Adolfo López Mateos neighborhood, in the state capital, for which companies are participating “that make the best parks in the world, because we want to build the Family City there.”
In her message to the residents of Tlaxcala, after inaugurating the asphalt repaving on Adolfo López Mateos Street, whose investment was two million 200 thousand pesos, she expressed her concern that the heart of Tlaxcala has another image.
“I am very concerned about the center, because for me Tlaxcala is like my home; the house that we take care of so much, when we have our house we want it to be all beautiful, and so Tlaxcala despite the years, after having been municipal president I have a great affection for it.”
She stressed that the state government is going to make a significant investment to improve the conditions of Ocotlán Avenue, attending to drainage, it is a “complicated” road, because it does not have hydraulic concrete and it is constantly in poor condition especially during the rainy season. In addition to “fixing” Guillermo Valle Boulevard and the center.
For these works, she anticipated that they will be during the course of the year “because we want to do a total remodeling from the park, you saw how beautiful San José was, because it was also a work that the state government did,” she indicated.
She added that in October of this year the city of Tlaxcala will celebrate 500 years of its foundation, the oldest in the country, for which she will attend to several projects to improve the urban image of the city.
In addition to the above, the state administration is attending to other works in progress, such as the Administrative City built in Yauhquemehcan, so that all the dependencies are concentrated in that area, putting “order in Tlaxcala”, with this, “many millions of pesos in rent” will also be stopped from being paid, from various dependencies, it will be concentrated in one place.
Cuéllar Cisneros indicated that the Health City is also about to be completed, where the hemodialysis clinic, hemodynamics, the shelter for patients’ relatives are located, this year the CRIAT Teletón will be inaugurated, as well as Coeprist, the construction of the linear accelerator to treat cancer and in 2026 it will be the Women’s Hospital.
But the Security City is also being built, which will concentrate the new prosecutors’ offices, the new police school, the Secretariat of Citizen Security; In addition, the entity already has the Control, Command, Communication, Computing, Coordination and Intelligence Center “C5i”, in addition to the C2 built in each municipality. “I am barely halfway there, but before I leave, all 60 municipalities will have the C2.”
In terms of sports, the construction of the High Performance Sports City in the city of Apizaco is progressing, a space that will house 33 disciplines; in addition to the City of Culture and Entertainment.
