For the next five years, Jalisco will host the leading global tourism industry fair, Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB), which is expanding its presence with the launch of ITB Americas, the first edition of which will be held in Guadalajara.
This event will be the key meeting point for the Tourism Industry in North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean, with the participation of the main players in the sector, allies and strategic buyers. Its arrival in America reinforces the international projection of Jalisco and its role as a leading destination for tourism and the Meetings Industry.
The announcement was made at the ITB Berlin fair with the participation of Michelle Fridman Hirsch, Secretary of Tourism of Jalisco, representing Jesús Pablo Lemus Navarro, Governor of Jalisco and Gustavo Staufert, Director of the Guadalajara Visitors and Conventions Office.
