Baja California continues to stand out and become a national tourism destination, receiving six nominations for the 2025 Best of Mexico awards, organized by México Desconocido.
The categories in which Baja California has been nominated reflect its rich and varied tourism offerings, which range from beaches and gastronomy to unique nature and adventure experiences.
The nominations for Baja California are:
- Best Beach to Discover in 2025 – Rosarito Beach
- Best City for a Wedding – Ensenada
- Best Typical Dish – Puerto Nuevo Style Lobster
- Best Gastronomic Route – Wine Route
- Best Close-up Wildlife Experience – Whale Watching
- Best State to Discover by Road – Baja California
Voting to select the winners is open from March 10th to April 20th of this year, allowing travelers and tourism lovers to recognize the best experiences in the country.
The results will be announced during the Mexico 2025 Tourism Fair, which this year will be held in Baja California.
