In the port of Acapulco, lifeguards Alejandro Martínez Rumbo and José Guadalupe Quezada Abarca, from the Acapulco Beach Promotion Agency, rescued a 32-year-old man at Dominguillo Beach. He was at risk of drowning, but thanks to the lifeguards’ prompt response, he is now out of danger.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when a person originally from Mexico City was in danger in the sea after being caught in a current that made it difficult for him to return to shore. Upon noticing the situation, the lifeguards acted immediately, applying the corresponding rescue protocols, and were able to rescue the swimmer in stable condition.
The tourist expressed his gratitude to the lifeguard team for their excellent work and professionalism, and also acknowledged their professionalism, which was demonstrated in his rescue.
