Governor Rocío Nahle García stated that she will implement a special security operation to ensure the peace of Veracruz residents and tourists during the upcoming Easter holiday period, from April 14 to 25.
“It will be statewide; we have said from the beginning that it is zero tolerance, that we do not make deals with anyone, and that we must guarantee the safety of all Veracruz residents,” she emphasized.
Veracruz is one of the most attractive destinations nationally and internationally, thanks to its natural beauty, beaches, gastronomy, and cultural traditions. Therefore, thousands of tourists are expected to enjoy its wide range of recreational activities during this holiday season.
The State Government, through the Secretariats of Civil Protection, Public Safety, and Health, will coordinate with Federal Forces and municipalities to conduct surveillance in tourist areas, highways, and high-traffic centers, with the goal of preventing incidents and protecting visitors.
