Free rabies vaccination campaign for dogs and cats announced in Veracruz

To prevent the spread of rabies in pets and safeguard the well-being of Veracruz families, the Ministry of Health is carrying out the Canine and Feline Rabies Vaccination Campaign in the 11 health jurisdictions of Veracruz.

Although the disease has been eradicated in Mexico since 2019, it still poses a risk to wildlife, so the agency urges the public to take advantage of this free strategy, which is implemented twice a year, during the two-month periods of March-April and September-October.

The vaccination campaign takes place over a week in urban health centers. For more information on dates and locations, visit the nearest one or consult the official networks of the health jurisdictions.
