As part of a comprehensive strategy to combat crimes against public health and comply with various court orders, the Querétaro State Attorney General’s Office, in coordination with state, federal, and municipal security forces, carried out 20 simultaneous searches in 18 neighborhoods in the municipalities of Querétaro and El Marqués.
The areas searched included Diana Laura, Fray Junípero, Independencia, Satélite, Azucenas, El Rocío, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Hércules, El Colorado, Lomas de Casa Blanca, San Pedrito Los Arcos, Amalia Solórzano, Los Pocitos, Miguel Hidalgo, Santa María Magdalena, El Pedregal, and Menchaca 3.
The operations were supported by members of the State Police, the National Guard, the Mexican Army, and the municipal police forces of Querétaro and El Marqués. In a statement, the State Attorney General’s Office reaffirmed its commitment to effective investigations, the prosecution of crimes, and strengthening public safety for the benefit of the people of Querétaro.
