The comprehensive work of the city council, led by José Chedraui Budib, is confirmed by the projects carried out with the authorities of the mayor’s office of Wolfsburg, Germany, to address climate change. These projects will soon be implemented in the capital of Puebla, revealed Jesús Sánchez Reliac, director of IMPLAN.
He also told Intolerancia Diario that the first projects to be observed in Angelópolis will be the adoption of school gardens.
He emphasized that these strategic actions will be implemented by Iván Herrera Villagómez’s Department of the Environment.
The goal of these strategies is to primarily impact vulnerable groups in the municipal territory.
He emphasized that the second part of this strategic plan contemplates investing resources in rainwater harvesters to guarantee the availability of water for the community.
“An unprecedented program will be implemented, involving education in schools by the Department of the Environment to create school gardens. It is a line of action that directly addresses climate change.”
He appreciated that contact with Wolfsburg city authorities has an impact on vulnerable groups in the auxiliary councils and various areas of the metropolis.
“We are working directly with the mayor’s office of Wolfsburg, Germany, to develop programs that truly address the problem of climate change.”
He announced that this type of work will continue with the authorities of this German city, but new horizons will also be sought to benefit the residents of Puebla City.
