The new Tecate Light offering incorporates salt from the Gulf of Mexico, which, in addition to its natural origin, contains unique properties that give it a special touch and enrich the light character that has defined the first Mexican light beer. With this, the brand strengthens its connection with consumers by celebrating local ingredients, connecting with its roots, and enhancing national pride.

As part of this initiative, the first floating bar was unveiled: a catamaran located in the Gulf of Mexico, created to offer a unique experience celebrating Mexican roots. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to check in digitally at the Gulf of Mexico, a symbolic action that recognizes the connection with the most authentic aspects of the country.
“Tecate Light was the first beer of its kind in the country and, since then, has paved the way with character and innovation. This is a special version that maintains the essence of the brand, while at the same time representing a statement of pride in who we are and a way to continue connecting with those who share that spirit,” said Esteban Velasco, brand director.
