Alejandro “N,” an adult content creator known as Alex Marín, was arrested in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, for his alleged involvement in the crime of human trafficking in the form of prostitution or other forms of sexual exploitation of a minor.
“The Specialized Investigation Unit for Crimes Against Women and Gender-Based Crimes and Human Trafficking of the Jalisco State Attorney General’s Office executed a court order this Wednesday in the Municipality of Puerto Vallarta,” the State Attorney General’s Office reported.
According to the agency, Alex Marín began a romantic relationship with a 16-year-old girl and it was established that, after gaining her trust, they began having sexual relations “in addition to offering her to other people in exchange for money.”
In one of those encounters, the agency details, Alejandro “N” convinced her to include other people and that everything would be recorded on video.
The influencer allegedly convinced the teenager to upload the recording of the encounter to pornographic websites, which the victim’s family found out about and filed a complaint.
Alex Marín was handed over to the judicial authorities, who will determine his legal status, while the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office continues the investigation.
The arrest of the adult content actor was also announced by Governor Pablo Lemus, who described it as “a very important arrest.”
“In Jalisco, we take the protection of women and minors very seriously; if other people have been affected by this individual, they can report him to the State Prosecutor’s Office,” the governor wrote.
