Mazatlán’s Historic Center will be transformed this Saturday, June 7th, starting at 7:00 PM, into a grand open-air stage for the highly anticipated Día de la Música 2025, a cultural celebration that celebrates musical diversity, local identity, and citizen participation in an atmosphere of harmony and art.

This Monday, during the official presentation of the event, Raúl Rico González, general director of the Mazatlán Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art, was accompanied by Alí Zamudio, director of Economic Development, Tourism, and Fisheries for the Mazatlán Government, representing Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez; Engineer María José Salazar Reyes and Bernardo Osuna, Commercial Director and Marketing Director of HERSA Corporativo, respectively, the sponsoring company of this festival; and Sergio Freeman, director of the Camerata Mazatlán.

More than 200 artists, five stages, and a living legacy

The 2025 edition of Music Day will feature the participation of more than 200 artists, mostly from Mazatlán, including students, graduates, and faculty from the Music School of the Municipal Arts Center (CMA) of the Mazatlán Institute of Culture, and prominent professional groups such as the Camerata Mazatlán, a symbol of musical excellence.

Raúl Rico, general director of CULTURA, the institution organizing this highly anticipated festival, thanked the media for their support and asked them to be allies in the work of highlighting and valuing the art of our city.

The official shared the program and thanked the Mazatlán Government and HERSA for their support in the celebration of this great festival, whose objective is to bring music to locals and tourists, recognizing its value in uniting, inspiring, and transforming society.

Security, Organization, and Legacy

The Institute of Culture reported that, as in previous years, it will be coordinated by Civil Protection, which in 2024 reported attendance of over 60,000 people and a clean slate, a testament to exemplary organization and respectful citizenship.

HERSA Corporativo: A New Strategic Partner

One of the announcements that made the difference was the addition of HERSA Corporativo as a partner,

whose collaboration strengthens the event’s organizational capacity and opens up new opportunities for the participating artists.

“We are real estate developers, and obviously, in addition to loving the city, we also want everyone who comes to visit (Mazatlán) to want to live here… So we have to show off what the city is all about, so that investors and visitors fall in love with it,” said Engineer María José Salazar Reyes, celebrating the private sector’s commitment to the port’s cultural development.
