Did organized crime take them? Investigation into the disappearance of young Sinaloa residents in Los Cabos

219

A few days ago, it was reported that three young men from Sinaloa disappeared in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur. They had traveled there for work, but nothing has been heard from them since.

The news began circulating on social media, but at the time, no further details were available about what happened to them—until now.

What is known about the disappearance of the three young men from Sinaloa in Los Cabos?

Although authorities have not officially confirmed anything, there is a development that could explain what happened to Jesús Josué Favela Osorio, Jesús Ramón Favela Astorga, and Jesús José Bojórquez Chávez, originally from El Fuerte, Sinaloa, who disappeared in Los Cabos on April 24, 2025.

Recently, information began circulating on social media from search groups and family members indicating that they were intercepted by an armed group while on their way to work in Migriño, Cabo San Lucas.

According to reports, witnesses said the three were traveling in a private vehicle when they were forced to stop near the Mar Alta private road in the Altamira area, and were taken along with the car.

This incident was reported by their families from the first days, who insisted there was no reason for their disappearance, as the three young men were simply going to work.

Since that day, there has been no concrete information about their whereabouts. Furthermore, their families claim it has been confirmed that they are not legally missing, but rather that they were deprived of their liberty by armed individuals.

Something similar also happened in Los Cabos with Yeimi Daniela, a 15-year-old girl who also disappeared.

Why are the three young men no longer officially considered missing in Los Cabos?

The recent update indicates that they are not simply missing, but that they were illegally deprived of their liberty, which is different from simply being missing.

Although it is still unknown where they are, this information changes the way they are being searched for, because it is now known that their absence is linked to an armed group.

The families say this happened in broad daylight, when the three young men, who were dressed in their work uniforms, were detained and forced into another vehicle.

They also say that more than a month has passed since they disappeared, and so far there is no news about them or information on progress in the investigation.

However, by changing the way the case is being investigated, other leads can now be followed.

What is known about the current situation of the three young men from Sinaloa?

So far, no official information has been released on whether anyone has been detained or who has been identified, but it has been confirmed that they were deprived of their liberty.

This implies that they are not missing for unknown reasons, but that their absence is the direct result of an act of violence.

Information remains limited, and the families continue to call for the young men’s return alive. For now, there is no information about their physical condition or where they may be.

Authorities have not provided any further information, while search groups and people close to the young men continue to look for clues to find them. In addition to this case, two men were also reported missing in Comondú in early May.
