A spectacular multiple collision caused at least four hours of traffic chaos after a cargo vehicle overturned after hitting a line of cars on a stretch of road on the Mexico-Puebla highway.
The pileup occurred Tuesday afternoon at kilometer 41 of the toll road to Puebla, near kilometer 41 on the border between the State of Mexico and Puebla. An ambulance from the Red Cross and the Federal Highways and Bridges (CAPUFE) arrived at the scene.

Although not yet confirmed by authorities, despite the spectacular nature of the collision and subsequent rollover, the accident did not result in any loss of life, only some assessments by paramedics, and no one was taken to a hospital.
The accident left at least three other vehicles involved, including a private pickup truck, whose occupants were assisted by paramedics. The driver of the semi-truck was also assessed, but no serious injuries were found, and he was brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
This Sunday’s violent day mobilized the police, with no reports of arrests so far.
It should be noted that, although the semi-truck was traveling toward the center of the capital, the force of the impact caused the trailer to be thrown into the road, invading part of the stream in the direction of Puebla.
Due to road clearance work and the enormous traffic jam that formed within minutes, it was necessary to close the San Marcos toll booth, while in the opposite direction, the damage was concentrated in the Río Frío area.
