Four banks are on the list, and the Credit Bureau is fifth, due to complaints from people who have not been removed from their credit history when appropriate, although there was a 13.6% improvement compared to the previous year.
91.6% of complaints to the Credit Bureau have a favorable resolution, the highest figure ever.
Banks.
BBVA has the most complaints, with 453 in these months, three more than the same period last year (up 0.7%), but among the four banking institutions, it has the most favorable response to the customer, at 49.5%.
Banco Azteca is the bank with the second most complaints and had the largest increase, up 23.2% to 292. It also has the lowest favorable response, at 39.7%.
Banamex continues with 236 complaints, down 16.6% compared to the previous year. It has a favorable rate of 45.5%.
Santander closes the top four banks with 234 complaints, a 15.8% decrease. The favorable response rate is 36.3%.
Older adults.
“In the first four months of 2025, favorable resolutions for users in Commercial Banking reached 44.9%. It is noteworthy that 34.7% of these complaints corresponded to older adults,” says the Condusef report.
“Furthermore, 42.6% of commercial banking complaints at the institution were related to possible fraud, mainly due to unrecognized purchases and electronic transfers,” it warned.
