Mexican conglomerate Grupo México has agreed to sell its highway business for approximately 7.7 billion pesos ($406.4 million), the company announced Friday.
The deal includes stakes in highway operators CIBSA, OIBSA, and Autopista Silao and is expected to close in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approval.
The proceeds from the sale will be used to finance investment projects in Mexico and for general corporate expenses across all of Grupo México’s business lines, the company explained.
