A student from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), identified as Mar Méndez, went viral on social media after revealing that she is currently pursuing seven majors at different higher education institutions.

Among the institutions where the young woman is studying are the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Monterrey Institute of Technology, and the Rosario Castellanos National University (UNRC).

Laura Flores reveals that Lalo Salazar left her after she had a hypoglycemic attack and breaks down in tears: “I was blocked.”

Through a video that quickly went viral on TikTok, Mar Méndez addressed her followers to show them evidence of six majors she is pursuing.

The young woman showed credentials, official transcripts, academic records, and even her grades sent by email, sparking admiration and a debate among TikTok users who praised her organizational skills and academic performance.

One of the programs she enjoys most, she said, is Law at BUAP. With a smile on her face, Mar Méndez said: “This is my ID, I study at BUAB. Here’s my academic record, and I’ll show you my GPA, the one I’ve accumulated for the program, which is 9.66.”

The content creator also revealed that she’s studying Space Engineering at UNAM, where she claims to be in her sixth semester with a 9.75 GPA.

“It says blah blah blah, School of Space Engineering, aha! And here you can see all my grades.”

The young woman continued showing evidence of her time at Tec de Monterrey, where she’s studying Nanotechnology Engineering:

“This certificate here is from February 25th of this year, and you can see my cumulative GPA from Tec, which is 96.55.”
Mar also recounted her experience in Pure Physics, a program she dropped out of her previous university to transfer to another institution.

“I’m no longer studying at this university because I requested a transfer. I’ll show you my GPA at the time of the application, which is 9.76.”
At Rosario Castellanos University, she is studying Psychology, although she clarified that she has not yet processed her academic record.

“I don’t have a record because I would have to request it, but I can show you the grades they emailed us from last quarter, which were 9, 10, and 9.”

Finally, Mar Méndez revealed that she has also trained in aviation and completed her training as a flight attendant.

“I’m also interested in obtaining a pilot’s license,” she commented.
“Many people had asked me to show my transcripts as evidence, and that’s why I showed them,” the young woman explained.

The young woman used the final seconds of her TikTok video to send a message to her followers: “I want to clarify that for me, a grade doesn’t define knowledge. So keep doing what you’re passionate about, whether it’s 1, 2, 3, or more things. Whatever makes you happy is fine.”

After the BUAP student shared that she’s studying seven majors, internet users were quick to react with polarizing comments. While some people questioned the feasibility of pursuing so many degrees at the same time, other users congratulated her for her determination, focus, and commitment to her multidisciplinary education.

Below are some of the reactions from internet users:

“No wonder I’m lazy to study, friend. You took all my energy.”
“We really need to know how you organize yourself!”
“Doesn’t this girl sleep or something?”
“For my sanity, I don’t believe you.”
“Are you sure we have the same 24 hours?”
“You give me the time… the money, dude!”
“I was just passing by and felt really humiliated.”
“And she even had time to record a TikTok.”
“Just hearing “7 majors” gave me a headache… Studying also involves enjoying life and not locking yourself away in so many books. I hope you don’t regret it in the future.”
“My mom was right: I’m mediocre.”
“I’m not impressed by the majors, I’m impressed by the mental stability she has to handle that pile of majors… and the money she spends.”
