The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Quintana Roo issued a wanted report for Joan Amor Reyna Mendoza, a 20-year-old woman who was last seen on July 5 in Cancún, in the municipality of Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo. Her relatives reported in a press conference that she traveled to Guadalajara, Jalisco, for a supposed job offer; however, she did not arrive at her destination, and her whereabouts have been unknown since then.
The woman reportedly traveled by plane to Guadalajara, where she landed around 11:30 p.m., and was headed to Zapopan for a job offer from an unknown company and architects, according to her brother, Eduardo Alejandro Pérez Mendoza.
Her relatives do not know the name of the company or the alleged employer, and are therefore asking for public support in locating Joan Amor, whose cell phone signal remained active until Saturday in a neighborhood called Roma, in Zapopan, Jalisco.
“We’re going to keep searching, we’re not going to give up,” said the brother of the missing young woman.
What was Joan Amor’s last message before her disappearance?
According to her family, the last message she had with her mother was at midnight on July 6, in which she informed her that she had already landed in Guadalajara and was losing signal.
Joan is Mexican, has dark brown eyes, light brown complexion, a slim build, long, straight, dark brown hair, is approximately 1.55 meters tall, and weighs 55 kilograms.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing white pants, a black blouse, pink sneakers, gold earrings, and a cross pendant. As identifying features, the search report states that the young woman has a mole below her left cheekbone.
The Quintana Roo Federal Government (FGE) asks the public to share any information about her whereabouts by calling 998 8817150 ext. 2130.
