A new boutique hotel has opened its doors in Mazatlán. Pueblo Bonito Vantage, located in the heart of the Historic Center, has received an investment of more than 200 million pesos and represents a new lodging option that combines luxury and comfort.
Located in the emblematic Historic Center, this new lodging center offers rooms, creates 50 jobs, and is located in a historic property that was remodeled to meet all the specifications of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).
Participating in the opening event, Sinaloa’s Secretary of Economy, Ricardo Velarde Cárdenas, thanked investors for their support of Mazatlán, a destination that continues to advance and projects an excellent summer.
“I am very pleased to be here for the opening of Pueblo Bonito Vantage, a boutique hotel that joins the transformation of Mazatlán’s Historic Center. Please accept a cordial greeting from Governor Rubén Rocha Moya, who celebrates projects like this, which boost the economy and tourism in our state.”
The event was led by the hotel’s owner, Gabriel García Coppel, who highlighted the talent that helped shape this project, which will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a bar and central patio, pool, jacuzzi, and spa.
“It is a source of pride that this project meets all the standards set by the INAH (National Institute of Health), and the fact that this project is part of Grupo Pueblo Bonito, which is an example of a Mazatlan company, is very important. The investment is Mazatlan, the operators, the decorator, the architect, and all the suppliers are Mazatlan, and I am very happy that they participated.”
Also in attendance was businessman Ernesto Coppel Kelly, president of the Pueblo Bonito corporation, the company that will operate this lodging center. He explained that the vantage category refers to a privileged or strategic vantage point that offers a better perception or experience.
Representing Mayor Estrella Palacios were Mazatlán Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism, and Fisheries, Alí René Zamudio, as well as Letty Coppel, president of the Foundation that bears her name.
