The Tsunami Warning Center (CAT-SEMAR) in Mexico warned that, according to updated information monitoring the spread of the tsunami generated after the earthquake in Russia, waves with heights of up to 1 meter are expected along the country’s coasts.
Strong currents are expected at port entrances, so authorities urge extreme caution for vessels in port.
