Renowned worldwide for its colonial beauty, cultural richness, and hospitality, the municipality of San Miguel de Allende will host the Fifth National Tourism Summit, one of the most important tourism events in Mexico, from September 3 to 5 of this year.
For the first time, the summit will be held outside of Mexico City, under the theme “The New Tourism: Culture and Prosperity.”
The summit is organized by CUMBRES HUB (formerly Cumbres by Blu) and will bring together more than 120 decision-makers, including state tourism secretaries, federal authorities, ambassadors, business leaders, academics, investors, and opinion leaders.
Over three days, key strategies will be discussed and defined to strengthen tourism as an economic, social, and cultural engine of the country.
The choice of San Miguel de Allende as the host is no coincidence: its sustainable tourism model, with a local identity and deep community roots, has been internationally recognized.
As a World Heritage Site, the city represents a benchmark in the creation of authentic experiences and tourism development with a social focus.
With this summit, San Miguel not only reaffirms its leadership in the tourism industry, but also establishes itself as the place from which the new tourism industry in Mexico will be shaped.
