Roland Beainy, co-owner of the Texas-based Trump Burger chain, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) amid an investigation into alleged immigration fraud.

The businessman, known for his outspoken support of President Donald Trump, could be deported after it was discovered he overstayed his visa and that his marriage was allegedly staged to obtain immigration benefits.

“She turned 41 on August 3, and she spent it in the detention center. It hurts me a lot because she’s a very hard-working woman,” said the woman’s son.

What is known about the arrest of the owner of the pro-Donald Trump burger chain?

According to a Newsweek report, ICE confirmed that Beainy “does not have any immigration benefits that would prevent his arrest or deportation from the United States,” despite being described on social media and in local media as a permanent resident.

Authorities asserted that he never had a valid green card. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reiterated its stance of “zero tolerance for immigration fraud.”

Beainy, 28, a Lebanese citizen, arrived in the United States in 2019 with a nonimmigrant visa. In 2021, a woman in Texas filed an immigration petition (Form I-130) claiming to be his wife, but USCIS revoked the petition after concluding that the marriage was not bona fide.

“Admissions from the petitioner’s own family exposed his marriage as a sham designed to game the system,” a DHS spokesperson stated.

Could the pro-Donald Trump burger chain owner be deported?

Beainy, who was arrested on May 16, 2025, is the co-owner of Trump Burger, a fast-food chain with four locations in Texas, which has garnered attention for its Donald Trump-inspired aesthetic and menu.

The location’s burgers, such as the Trump Tower and the Melania Crispy Chicken, have generated controversy. Additionally, one of its branches received a cease-and-desist order for misuse of the “Trump” name, according to Fayette County records.

While awaiting a hearing before an immigration judge on November 18, Beainy was released on bond. If he is declared “removable,” he could be deported. ICE emphasized that “this is true regardless of the restaurant he owns or any political beliefs he may hold.”
