Authorities stated that she was a priority target for them at the state level and her arrest occurred as a result of Operation “Sable,” carried out in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
According to the statement, “La Hiena” is identified as an operator of a criminal organization operating in the Isthmus region and is alleged to be responsible for various criminal acts that endangered the safety of residents.
According to the official report, the woman belongs to a group that operated out of the San Luis Rey municipal agency in Santo Domingo Tehuantepec.
Local media reports claim that she is a member of the cartel of the same name as the agency, which was responsible for selling illicit substances and extorting residents, as well as maintaining a direct relationship with “El Cromo” (another alleged leader) of the same organization.
Following her arrest, the woman was brought before a prosecutor, after a judge ruled her arrest was legal after charging her with drug trafficking offenses.
Operation “Sable” also involved the participation of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) and the Regional Deputy Prosecutor’s Office of the Central Valleys, in collaboration with the Navy and the State Police.
