Mothers of missing persons held a meeting with Mazatlán Mayor Estrella Palacios on Friday afternoon in her office at City Hall.
The meeting began around 7:00 PM and continued until 8:30 PM, with more women arriving at the meeting.
According to unofficial sources, between 15 and 20 mothers attended, although the exact number was not specified due to the constant flow of people entering the meeting.
As of press time, the content of the meeting and the agreements reached had not been disclosed.
The meeting is expected to result in the completion of investigation files on the disappearance cases that families have been demanding for months.
The meeting takes place just over 24 hours after mothers of missing persons demonstrated in the City Hall chambers, where they criticized the mayor for failing to address their demands.
