In a family-friendly and supportive atmosphere, more than 2,000 runners gathered this Sunday, September 7, at Las Riberas Park in Culiacán to participate in the sixth edition of the “All Mexico Saving Lives” race, organized by the Mexican Red Cross simultaneously in all 32 states.

From early on, the main avenue was filled with color with the presence of athletes, entire families, children in strollers, and even pets that joined the route. At 7:00 a.m., the starting gun was fired for the different 3, 5, and 10-kilometer races.

The Red Cross delegate in Sinaloa, Carlos Bloch Artola, celebrated the public response to the event, which aimed to raise funds for the institution’s maintenance.

“Our goal was 2,000, we achieved it, even surpassing the number by a few. They came, they competed, and we are very happy,” he said.

According to the organizers, the approximate amount raised was 600,000 pesos, which will be used to cover operating expenses of the Red Cross throughout the state. Bloch announced that, due to the high participation, they plan to expand the distribution of kits for the next edition.

The race included men’s and women’s races, running five and ten kilometers, in addition to a three-kilometer family walk. The spirit of togetherness, solidarity, and support for the worthy institution marked the day.

With music, cheers, and a sporting celebration atmosphere, the sixth edition of “Todo México Salvando Vidas” in Culiacán reaffirmed the importance of uniting sports and social causes to benefit the community.
