Two Spanish tourists are among the fatalities in the serious accident on the Bernal highway, reported Secretary of Government Eric Gudiño.
The official indicated that the arrival of the Spanish consul is expected, who will meet with the State Prosecutor’s Office to coordinate the repatriation procedures for the bodies.
“In the case of the two Spanish women, the Spanish consul is arriving today to meet with the State Prosecutor’s Office and coordinate the procedures. We are in contact with the families of both the driver and the young woman,” Gudiño indicated.
In addition, the secretary mentioned that the families of the injured individuals, who are in serious condition, have already been contacted: the driver and a young woman.
