Mazatlán was part of the Vancouver International Travel Expo 2025, a fair held in Canada that brings together consumers and tourism professionals.
The state Secretary of Tourism, Mireya Sosa Osuna, noted that in its eighth edition, more than 200 international exhibitors participated, including cruise companies, airlines, hotels, tour operators, and travel agencies.
“Participating in the Vancouver International Travel Expo 2025 was a great opportunity to position Mazatlán as an attractive winter destination for the Canadian market, offering warm weather, excellent cuisine, air connectivity with direct flights from Vancouver to Mazatlán, and great hospitality,” she emphasized.
In addition, ties were strengthened and strategic relationships were formed to enhance not only the image of the port but also of Sinaloa in the international market, creating alliances that promote investment.
During the event, Mazatlán’s full destination offering was showcased, highlighting its hotel infrastructure and tourist attractions, especially the wedding segment and the fact that it is the only sun-and-beach destination in the country with a Historic Center.
With four weekly direct flights between Mazatlán and Vancouver, the Canadian market is very important for the port.
The Vancouver International Travel Expo 2025 attracts people looking to plan their vacations, and Mazatlán was featured among the booths alongside major tourism offices, airlines, and cruise lines from around the world.
