This morning, a group of teachers blocked off major streets in the downtown area, including Calle 11, Aldama, and Vicente Guerrero, causing heavy traffic congestion in the area.
The teachers from Section 42 explained that their main demand is the payment of the Clave L (Code L) fee, which has been pending for several years following the approval of the Federal Education Reform implemented during the Enrique Peña Nieto administration.
According to the protesters, approximately 2,000 teachers across the state are facing this situation.
They did so using loudspeakers and microphones, demanding a roundtable discussion with the authorities to find a solution to the issue.
