The cities of Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, and Tepic are getting ready for the 30th edition of the International Gourmet Festival, the oldest of its kind in Mexico.
From November 13 to 23, the 28 most important restaurants in this tourist corridor will feature distinguished national and international chefs in their kitchens, who will delight diners with their menus.
Among them are Michelin-starred French chef Romain Dupeyre; world barbecue champion Víctor Howard; and Oaxacan gastronomy experts Thalía Barrios and Erick Bautista.
“Today, gastronomy is a reason for travel […] It’s where we create memorable moments, we can learn and connect with those cultures and identities,” said Miguel Hernández, Jalisco’s Undersecretary of Tourism.
Participating restaurants include Amixtli, Dao, Hector’s Kitchen, Le Bistro, Café Des Artistes, NOI, Loma 42, Taormina, Zicatela, ICÚ, Karuma, and others.
