The Guelaguetza Ñuu Savi arrives in Oaxaca: date and location

Huajuapan de León will host the Guelaguetza Ñuu Savi in ​​October 2025, as announced by Saymi Pineda, head of the Oaxaca Ministry of Tourism (Sectur). At the event, attendees will enjoy handicrafts from the Mixteca region, as well as culinary samples such as mole de hips, mixiotes, and barbacoa.

The festival will bring together nine delegations, seven from the Mixteca region and two invited guests, and will be held as part of the 2025 Mole de Caderas Festival.

When is the 2025 Guelaguetza Ñuu Savi?

At a press conference, the head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) announced that this year’s Guelaguetza Ñuu Savi will be held on Saturday, October 11th, at the Fairgrounds of the Heroic City of Huajuapan de León, located in the Mixteca region of Oaxaca. The event is scheduled for 6:00 PM and will feature the participation of the following delegations:

On this day, participants can also enjoy the Mole de Caderas Festival, which will feature 15 food stands and five craft, textile, and workshop stands. as well as a cultural festival at 4:00 p.m. with the presence of the Goddess Centéotl and the Public Security Secretariat’s Music Band.
