Puebla, Pue – The Puebla 2025 Marathon will be held on November 23rd, with the expected participation of 20,000 national and international athletes. The event will be divided into 5, 10, 21, and 42.1 kilometers.
Unique Prizes and Recognitions
The prize pool will be 2 million pesos, with additional incentives for outstanding Puebla residents. Local entrepreneurs have joined the event with an electric car, which will be awarded to the best Puebla runner in the half marathon and marathon distances.
Starting this Thursday, those interested can register on the Puebla Sports Secretariat website. Prices are affordable: 110 pesos for 5 kilometers, 220 for 10 kilometers, 330 for 21 kilometers, and 418 pesos for 42.1 kilometers. Official kits will be distributed on November 21st and 22nd at the Exhibition Center.
Metropolitan Route with Guaranteed Safety
According to the Undersecretary of Sports, Mauricio García, the short distances (5 and 10 km) will be within the city of Puebla, while the half and full marathons will reach San Andrés and San Pedro Cholula. Governor Alejandro Armenta promised a comprehensive security operation along the route.
The president of Canacintra Puebla, Carlos Sosa Spínola, confirmed the business collaboration. He emphasized that the private sector is joining the event not only with prizes but also with logistical support to ensure its success.
