In June 2025, industrial activity in Querétaro registered an annual increase of 2.9% and a monthly increase of 1.7%, according to the Monthly Indicator of Industrial Activity by State (IMAIEF), published by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). With this performance, the state ranked among the states with positive growth, along with Nayarit, Sinaloa, Tamaulipas, the State of Mexico, Sonora, and Colima.
The manufacturing sector was the main driver of local growth, with an annual increase of 13.3%, while construction decreased 2.8%, electricity generation fell 5.6%, and mining declined 2.8%.
At the national level, the industrial indicator reported an annual decrease of 0.4%, which shows that Querétaro maintains its dynamism in the secondary sector despite the slowdown affecting other regions of the country, reported INEGI.
