From November 1st to 4th, the Bay of Cabo San Lucas will be filled with color, tradition, and culture with the fifth edition of the Day of the Dead 2025 Nautical Festival, an event that combines the magic of one of Mexico’s most iconic celebrations with the charm of the marine environment.

During the introductory press conference, Petra Juárez Maceda, Councilwoman II and President of the Commission on Indigenous and Afro-Mexican Affairs, highlighted the importance of preserving ancestral roots and highlighting cultural diversity through this celebration.

“We are very happy to be part of this festival because it highlights the culture of our country. As an Indigenous community, we will celebrate with Altars in the Sea, a unique tradition that can only be experienced in this way in Los Cabos,” said the councilwoman.

The 2025 Day of the Dead Nautical Festival, organized by Festivales Náuticos MX, will feature floating altars, traditional dances, artistic performances, and cultural activities, becoming a meeting point for locals and tourists seeking to experience Mexican traditions from a maritime perspective unique in the country.

Juárez Maceda reiterated his invitation to the public and the tourism sector to join the event:

“We want to continue preserving this ancestral culture. We invite everyone to attend, participate, and experience this with us; it will be a magical and vibrant festival.”

With this celebration, Los Cabos reaffirms its commitment to preserving Mexican traditions, strengthening its cultural identity, and promoting art and inclusion from one of the most important tourist destinations in the country.
