Investors associated with FORET, who acquired rural land on the Yobaín-Chabihau highway, reported that the property developer disappeared along with their investment.

Investors who acquired land in the Sayab residential area reported that after purchasing and paying for the land from the real estate company FORET, the company has not fulfilled its obligations to deliver the land near the coastal area of ​​Chabihau, which belongs to Yobaín.

They claim that Ana Cristina Correa, director of Grupo FORET, a real estate developer, has refused to come forward to clarify why the land, which was allegedly divided and subdivided, is still buried beneath the forest with no road access.

The complainants claim that the person in charge, Ana Cristina, blocked all negative comments on social media, and when they visited the offices, they confirmed that she was not there.

Within days, those affected will file the corresponding property damage claims if they do not receive a prompt and effective response.

For their part, Yobaín city council officials stated that they are unaware of the activity taking place there, as the real estate company has not yet contacted municipal authorities and, consequently, does not have the necessary local permits for its operation. Therefore, any activity in that area could result in closure.
