Monterrey police arrested 35-year-old Carlos César N. on Wednesday for disturbing the peace at the bus terminal. He was wanted on an arrest warrant for child molestation in the state of Chiapas.
The arrest took place at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Villagrán and Colón streets, following a report from a ticket vendor who informed officers that the man had insulted him after refusing to sell him a ticket because he didn’t give his name.
When officers attempted to subdue the man, they encountered resistance and proceeded to arrest him. Investigations by the C4 (Command, Control, Communications, Computing, and Intelligence Center) confirmed that Carlos César N. is wanted by Chiapas authorities for serious crimes.
The man was subsequently handed over to Chiapas authorities and transferred to that state for further investigation. This action reinforces inter-agency coordination and the effectiveness of preventative operations in Monterrey.
