In communities in Veracruz, Puebla, and Querétaro, FEMSA, through Coca-Cola FEMSA and OXXO, increased its humanitarian aid efforts to address urgent needs for water, food, and essential supplies in response to the recent rains and floods.
In the most affected areas, Coca-Cola FEMSA has maintained a comprehensive assistance operation since the beginning of the emergency, aiming to guarantee access to purified water, food, and basic supplies.
In coordination with the Mexican Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA), the company is operating water purification trucks in Veracruz: one in Poza Rica since October 14, providing 41,820 liters of purified water; another in La Florida and Independencia, activated on October 17 and 22, respectively, supplying 9,720 liters; and a final one in Álamo, put into service on October 22, delivering 16,520 liters. In the state, 82,020 liters of water and 8,828 liters of milk and hydrating beverages have been distributed.

The bottling company delivered 10,000 liters of purified water in Puebla and, together with the Coca-Cola Foundation, deployed an additional water purification truck with a production capacity of 2,100 liters. An additional 5,000 liters were added in Querétaro.
Simultaneously, FEMSA channeled aid to its employees and their families in affected areas, consisting of 1,230 food baskets, 4,580 medical supplies, 1,200 cleaning kits, 552 kilograms of pet food, 244 packages of diapers, and 72 packages of formula, to contribute to their overall well-being.
In coordination with the Mexican Army (SEDENA) and the Ministry of Public Administration (SFP), the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry (IMCC) will deliver more than 10 million liters of purified water to key locations such as Poza Rica (227,328 liters), Pachuca (725,743 liters), and the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (1,037,760 liters).
For its part, OXXO focused its support on employees and their families in northern Veracruz by distributing 1,200 food baskets, 6,000 liters of drinking water, and launching psychological support services for employees.
Additionally, local teams launched a clothing and basic necessities drive, maintaining communication with authorities to expand support efforts.
OXXO and Coca-Cola FEMSA thus reaffirm FEMSA’s commitment to the affected communities and their recovery.
