Take precautions: Road blockades continue in various parts of the country; here’s where roads or highways are closed today, November 19, 2025, due to demonstrations.

Where are there road blockades today?

Sinaloa

In Sinaloa, protesters began the day by allowing free passage at some toll booths on the state’s highways. The National Guard (GN) reported the presence of some people at the following toll plazas:

El Pisal, at kilometer 23+500 of the Los Mochis-Culiacán highway.

Las Brisas, at kilometer 110+100 of the Culiacán-Las Brisas highway. After 11:30 a.m., the protesters withdrew from the El Pisal tollbooth, and traffic returned to normal.

Oaxaca

In Oaxaca, protesters partially blocked traffic at the Suchixtlahuaca tollbooth, at kilometer 141+223 of the Cuacnopalan-Oaxaca highway.

Meanwhile, the Federal Roads and Bridges Agency (Capufe) reported that traffic was completely blocked in both directions at the Suchixtlahuaca tollbooth on the Tehuacán-Oaxaca highway by the protesters, and advised drivers to take precautions.

Veracruz

The National Guard also reported a blockade due to a protest on the Tihuatlán-TC Alazan-Canoas highway, at kilometer 37+300, in Veracruz.
