State authorities announced the launch of three new routes for the BinniBus Metropolitan Public Transportation System in Oaxaca. Here’s what they are, their destinations, schedules, and other information of interest to users of this transportation system.

What are the three new BinniBus routes in Oaxaca?
BinniBus announced three new routes via its official social media channels. These routes began operating this past Monday, November 17, 2025, in Oaxaca.

According to this government organization, these routes will allow thousands of people in the state to travel efficiently and safely to their destinations.

The three new routes are:

RC05: From the Libramiento Norte Base to Parque Francisco I. Madero
RC09: From the Bugambilias neighborhood to the El Rosario housing development
RC11: From San Juan Bautista La Raya to the Módulo Azul (Blue Module)

Yes, the RC05 Xuujx route will connect Viguera-Los Ángeles with the area also known as Jardín Madero, right in the center of Oaxaca City. Meanwhile, the RC09 Kítsian Jan route will serve the Bugambilias neighborhood to the El Rosario housing development. And the RC11 Máɨ² route will connect the Módulo Azul (Blue Module) with the Airport-La Raya area.

“We continue moving towards a comprehensive, dignified, and safe transportation system, consolidating the transformation of mobility in Oaxaca!” they stated on the BinniBus official Facebook page.

Schedules, Costs, and Other Details

Karina Gómez Esteban, director of BinniBus in Oaxaca, stated that these three new routes will operate in the same way as the existing ones, offering service from Monday to Sunday, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

What will the cost be? General admission is 8 pesos, but students and senior citizens can ride for only 4 pesos. In fact, passengers with disabilities can use these routes for free.

According to the BinniBus system, thanks to the restructuring that began in 2023, there has been a 53% increase in the number of passengers. They also highlighted that with the three new routes, they will serve more than 16,000 additional passengers per day.
