At least three municipalities in the Northern Region of Coahuila suffered material damage due to the heavy rains that occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, November 20.

Acuña, Zaragoza, and Piedras Negras were the municipalities where there were street closures, downed power poles and trees, and power outages.

In Acuña, the roads crossing the fords were closed to traffic; in Zaragoza, three power poles and four trees fell, and the windows of a gymnasium that operates as a nursing home were broken.

In Piedras Negras, the Fire Department responded to reports of two fallen trees, and traffic lights malfunctioned at some intersections.

Additionally, Hospital #11 lost power and activated its generators to ensure continued care for its patients.
