The Querétaro State Institute of Sports and Recreation (INDEREQ), through its Adapted Sports Department, announced the community’s participation in “Run With Me 2025,” a race commemorating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The race will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Querétaro 2000 Park athletic track.
The event is for pairs consisting of one person with a disability and one person without. The distance is 1.5 kilometers, and the goal is to promote inclusion and community through sports.
The registration period will close on Wednesday, December 3 (or when all spots are filled). The distribution of race kits (commemorative t-shirt, race number, and finisher’s medal for those who complete the course) is scheduled from December 4th to 6th at the facilities of the Adapted Sports Department of INDEREQ. Additionally, there will be a “packet pickup tent” on Sunday, December 7th, at the track for out-of-town runners who have notified the organizers in advance.
The start and finish lines are located at the athletic track in Querétaro 2000 Park, and warm-ups will begin at 8:00 a.m. The organizers also mentioned that participants must bring the required documentation for packet pickup (identification and, in the case of minors, a signed parental or guardian consent form). It should be noted that the event is limited to a maximum of 350 pairs.
