In her statement, she demanded an impartial investigation and the breaking of the “pact of impunity” related to the alleged financial collapse of FIBBA and various land dispossession operations in the Riviera Nayarit.
López Rodríguez stated that the Attorney General’s Office has investigated three former governors and an estimated loss of 10 billion pesos, affecting indigenous families, landowners, and ejido members in the region. She indicated that the modus operandi involves alleged real estate developers who convinced owners to hand over deeds or original documents, only to later carry out simulated legal acts, generate fraudulent deeds, use expired documents, and forge signatures.
The businesswoman specifically mentioned the involvement of notary offices such as Notary 21 in Tepic and Notary 11, also located in the Nayarit capital. He asserted that when the victims went to file complaints, they encountered the prosecutor directly, who allegedly reversed the charges and attempted to impose fabricated accusations.
López Rodríguez stated that he was speaking from his own experience, noting that his family had also been victims of these practices. Therefore, he called for the removal of Prosecutor Petronilo Díaz Ponce, whom he accused of being an “accomplice” in this scheme of dispossession.
To date, neither the prosecutor nor the government of Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero has issued a statement regarding the accusations.
