The Puebla State Government’s Infrastructure Secretariat has implemented a temporary road closure on the Mexico-Puebla highway, affecting traffic in both directions of this important thoroughfare, due to urban improvement work on the median.

The closure, which began on December 8 and will continue until Friday, December 12, is in effect during daylight hours from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The affected section is located between the Puebla-Tlaxcala Federal Highway and Ferrocarril Avenue.

Authorities reported that the work focuses on improving the appearance of the highway’s median. Warning signs with the message “CAUTION: PERSONNEL WORKING” have been posted to alert motorists.

The state agency is urging the public to take precautions, consider alternate routes, or plan their trips in advance, as slow traffic is expected in the area during construction hours.

They also recommend that drivers stay informed through the official accounts of the Puebla State Government’s Infrastructure Secretariat for any updates on traffic logistics.
