The governor of Campeche, Layda Sansores San Román, has once again appeared among the lowest-rated governors in the country. The most recent survey by Statistical Research Corporation (SRC), corresponding to December 2025, places her among the six worst-rated governors in the nation, registering a mere 49.6 percent approval rating, a figure that puts her in 27th position out of a total of 32 state governors evaluated.
This result adds to a series of negative ratings that the Campeche governor has accumulated in various polls over the past few months. This is not a single survey or an isolated evaluation, as other national studies have also reflected a majority disapproval of her performance, confirming a persistent trend of public disapproval and questioning of her administration’s results.
