With more than 560 monthly flights, Flix Mexico has begun operations from Nuevo León to Texas, connecting Monterrey with Laredo, San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston.
The Nuevo León Ministry of Economy highlighted the importance of the new route for boosting economic and tourism integration.
The company, Flix, backed by Greyhound, will also connect to more than 1,600 destinations in the U.S. and Canada.
Carlos Magaña, director of Flix Mexico, emphasized that Flix’s vision is to create smarter and more environmentally friendly mobility.
Flix has a global presence in 45 countries and chose to begin operations in Escobedo, Nuevo León, due to its strategic location in the border region, the industrial dynamism of Texas, and the infrastructure of Nuevo León.
