People who are internally displaced and over the age of 15 will have the opportunity to certify their elementary or secondary education free of charge, the United Nations Migration Agency (IOM) reported.

The examination session will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Equality and Inclusion Center, where interested individuals will be able to take an assessment to complete their studies.

There will also be advisory assistance before the examination to help participants prepare.

Requirements to certify elementary and secondary education with the IOM

To take the elementary education examination, applicants must provide:

  • A copy of their CURP.
  • If they do not have a CURP, they may provide an identification document.

For the secondary education examination, applicants must provide their elementary education certificate.

The schedules are:

  • Elementary education: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Secondary education: 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

How to register

Interested individuals must register in advance using the registration form.

The session will be held at the Equality and Inclusion Center, located at 1990 Dr. José Eleuterio González Avenue, Urdiales neighborhood, Monterrey, Nuevo León.
