Iberojet, an airline belonging to Ávoris, inaugurated its new Madrid-Querétaro route on December 20th. This direct service, operated exclusively by the company, connects the Spanish capital with one of Mexico’s most dynamic economic and tourist hubs.

The opening of this route represents a significant step in the airline’s expansion strategy in long-haul markets. This new route marks a milestone in aviation by connecting this international airport with Spain and Europe for the first time, not only for the city of Querétaro but also for the Bajío region. Located in central Mexico, this region boasts significant geographical, economic, and cultural interest, as well as a rich mining and agricultural history. It encompasses states such as Guanajuato, Querétaro, and Michoacán, home to more than 300 Spanish and 500 European companies, primarily dedicated to aerospace, automotive, and winemaking technologies, and has a population of approximately 18 million.

With its first weekly flight starting on December 20th, the route will expand to two weekly flights from the last week of May, in anticipation of the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Mexico, one of the host countries.

The route will operate as a scheduled service and can be booked not only on the Iberojet website but also through all travel agencies in Spain and Mexico. It is also included in the programs of tour operators Ávoris CATAI, Travelplan, and Special Tours.

All flights will be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft, a new-generation plane incorporating the latest technological advancements and designed to offer a more comfortable and efficient flight experience.

Passengers can enjoy all the benefits, from standard service to Economy+ service, and, as a new feature, special amenities with enhanced cabin conditions for an even more comfortable and personalized travel experience.
