The Tierra de Alonso vineyard is part of the Querétaro Art, Cheese, and Wine Route and is located at kilometer 30 on the highway between Querétaro and the magical town of Tequisquiapan, very close to the Querétaro International Airport.
It’s about a 30-minute drive from the magical towns of Bernal, Tequisquiapan, and the city of Querétaro, while from Mexico City it’s a little over two and a half hours.
What will the New Year’s Eve party at the Tierra de Alonso vineyard be like?
Ideal for the whole family, the Tierra de Alonso vineyard’s New Year’s Eve party will offer a variety of experiences immersed in the 3 hectares of vineyards that make up the property.
These include a live concert by the band Funky Zon, a bonfire area to warm up, and telescopes for observing the region’s starry skies.
The experience also includes dinner. The adult menu consists of a cheese and charcuterie board, roasted tomato soup on country bread, pork loin in white wine with braised vegetables, Santiago tart, and cochinita pibil and esquites appetizers.
Children will have their own cheese and charcuterie board, tomato soup, pasta al burro, and a delicious brownie for dessert.
Shortly before midnight, each guest will receive a glass of sparkling wine and grapes for the traditional toast.
Tierra de Alonso also offers guided tours, picnics, a restaurant, a craft brewery (La Chivata), a cheese shop (Quesos Vai), and lodging (Hotel de Tierra).
