This underground site offers a guided tour of approximately 1,300 meters, during which visitors can explore 17 chambers formed over millions of years by natural processes. Inside, impressive rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites can be admired, highlighted by a lighting system that emphasizes the textures, colors, and dimensions of the caves.

The Nombre de Dios Caves are open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Access is in groups accompanied by trained staff, with a general admission fee of 80 pesos. Children and seniors receive a discounted rate of 40 pesos.

For safety reasons, children under six years of age and people with sensitive medical conditions, such as low blood pressure, are not permitted entry. Visitors are also advised to wear comfortable clothing and non-slip shoes and to follow the staff’s instructions at all times during the tour.

With these types of initiatives, the Municipal Government continues to promote local tourism, foster family activities, and highlight the value of Chihuahua City’s natural heritage as part of the municipality’s identity and richness.
