Mazatlán continues to solidify its position as a top destination for international cruise lines, welcoming over 14,000 visitors in just one week.
Mireya Sosa Osuna, the state’s Secretary of Tourism, noted that cruise tourism significantly boosts the local economy by revitalizing the commerce and transportation sectors.
On Monday, the “Navigator of the Seas” arrived at the port with 3,791 passengers and 1,254 crew members; on Tuesday, the “Norwegian Jade” arrived with 2,317 passengers and 1,011 crew members; on Wednesday, the “Carnival Panorama” arrived with 4,084 passengers and 1,318 crew members; and the week concluded on Thursday with the arrival of the “Norwegian Bliss” with 4,372 passengers and 1,618 crew members.
From Monday to Thursday, a total of 14,564 passengers and 5,201 crew members visited the port.
In 2025, Sinaloa received 126 cruise ships with more than 436,000 cruise passengers and generated 698 million pesos in economic activity.
