To strengthen community life and promote culture, the Tlaxcala City Council, headed by Mayor Alfonso Sánchez García, held two recreational and artistic activities this past weekend in the city’s Historic Center, through the Tourism Coordination Office.
In the Plaza de la Constitución, local families and visitors enjoyed a performance on Saturday by the Yandari Folkloric Projection Group, comprised of artists from Greece and Costa Rica, who offered a vibrant show full of color, music, and tradition. They performed traditional songs from various regions of Central America and Europe, promoting cultural exchange and tourism.
Also, in this main square of the capital, “Family Sundays” began, an initiative designed to offer healthy and accessible entertainment options for children and adults. On this occasion, Sponch the Biker Clown performed, creating a joyful and engaging atmosphere among the families in attendance.
It is worth noting that the Clown Sponch show will be presented every Sunday in the Plaza de la Constitución, completely free of charge, as a way to create attractive spaces and turn the Historic Center into a meeting point for family life.
