In several operations carried out last week, 26 individuals linked to criminal activity were arrested in at least seven municipalities in the state of Hidalgo.
The security cabinet, headed by Governor Julio Menchaca Salazar, announced that, as a result of actions undertaken to combat crime, 26 people were arrested in connection with various criminal acts.
Among the results, the Tula region stands out, where 10 people were arrested, in addition to the seizure of 10 stolen vehicles, a handgun, 529 doses of drugs, 1,700 liters of fuel, and cash.
In the municipality of Acaxochitlan, security forces apprehended six individuals allegedly involved in fuel theft during an operation carried out by state and municipal officers, who were attacked with gunfire. In this operation, five vehicles and 40 containers with approximately 800 liters of gasoline were seized.
It was also reported that in Tizayuca, a man identified as the alleged perpetrator of the disappearance of a person from the state of Puebla was arrested, along with three of his accomplices.
In four other municipalities, six people were arrested, and 942 doses of narcotics and seven vehicles were seized.
